11 ministries get secretaries over 60 years of age

Ministry secretaries who retired before 2007 are entitled to receive the salary
they were drawing at the time and other special allowances and the secretaries
who retried after 2007 are entitled to only half month of their last drawn
salary.
All these secretaries are paid a special allowance of Rs. 15,000, cost of living
allowance, fuel allowance of Rs. 20,000, mobile, residence and office phones,
are paid by the state.
