Inspector General, Defence Secretary threatened to dismiss the IGP immediately.

When Minister Wimal Weeravansa gave a telephone call to defence secretary police
officer was engaged with another telephone call. Then the Police Officer ceased
his call as follows.
"Sir, Minister Wimal Weerawansa is telling me that I have a telephone call from
the Defence Secretary."
