Govt. stand on milk food prices next week
The President of Consumer Affairs Authority Rumy Marzook has said the government’s stand on increase in the prices of milk powder will be announced next week. A number of milk food companies have asked permission from the government to increase prices of milk food as the prices in the world market has gone up.
According to milk food companies a kilo of milk food should be sold between Rs.650 to 700. However, the prices would be much more when government taxes are added say market sources.
