The Nandikadal fisheries project comes to a standstill

Sources from the Defence Ministry said that the Defence Secretary’s fisheries project in the Nandikadal lagoon has been temporarily halted following inquiries by the Indian authorities.

Lanka News Web earlier reported that a Chinese company had been assigned to exhume and destroy the bodies of LTTE cadres that have been buried around the Nandikadal lagoon under the guise of a fisheries project.

A senior Fisheries Ministry official when inquired about the respective project said the ministry was not aware of it and asked the question to be posed to the Defence Ministry.

Oh that's a bad news but i think it will be opened soon and will be working. But the factory also did some other problematic stuff so they closed it.
