Search operations resumes in Jaffna

Reports states, search operations have resumed in Jaffna by the forces. The information was accepted by the Jaffna troops stated, such activities are processed due to the increase of demands of ransom, abductions and sexual harassment incidents.

The troops informed that during their search operations, the police too would be with them, but according to sources the police presence was not observable. Meanwhile according to the Jaffna information, the armed groups and the intelligence division from the troops who had obtained the blessings from the forces are involved in demands of ransom including many crimes.
