Statement of the attack against the Sri Lankan Cricket team not submitted – Pakistan Sports Group

The Pakistan Cricket Group had requested the Pakistan Defense officers to submit a detail explanation in regard to the attack against the Sri Lankan Cricket Team at Lahore, Pakistan last year, but the report in regard to this is still delayed.

In regard to the attack incident a report was prepared by the Pakistan Justice Commission during the year 2009, and was submitted to the Parliament group by the Punjab Government. The Pakistan Sports Group states, it has not still received from the Punjab government. 

According to information, an attack incident was done during the month of March last year, while the Sri Lankan was proceeding to attend a test match to the Lahore Sports grounds, a attack was done against them. During the attack some Pakistani security officers had died and some got injured.
